In Colorado, yes. GenEra Wealth, LLC is registered there as an investment adviser. Applications to register in New Jersey, California, Maryland, New York, District of Columbia, and Virginia are pending, and it does not provide advisory services in those states.
GenEra Wealth is led by Co-CEOs Martial Frindéthié, who also serves as Chief Compliance Officer, and Jarrett Sharp, who also serves as Chief Financial Officer and leads the investment work. Emmett Fehlau-Barton, CFP®, is the firm's Financial Planner, working with families on financial planning, retirement strategy, and education planning.

No. Your assets are held in your name at Charles Schwab, an independent qualified custodian, with SIPC protection and account access that does not depend on GenEra Wealth. GenEra Wealth never takes custody of client assets.
GenEra Wealth holds no proprietary products, earns no commissions, and receives no revenue sharing. Advisory fees are paid directly by clients. Economic benefits received from the custodial platform relationship are described in our Form ADV Part 2A.
Yes. Many advisory firms don't allow it because supervising and archiving text messages is harder than banning them. GenEra Wealth allows it, so a two-sentence question doesn't require writing an email.
